The Reef Buddy editorial team is the organizational author for articles carrying that byline. District Web is responsible for publication. A reviewer is named only when a real, documented review has occurred; absence of a reviewer line means no independent expert review is claimed.
We prefer primary research, institutional guidance, manufacturer instructions, and established technical references. Sources should directly support the nearby claim. Numeric targets are presented as practical ranges rather than universal prescriptions, and readers should avoid abrupt corrections that can stress animals.
Reef Buddy articles are educational and are not a substitute for advice from an aquatic veterinarian, experienced local professional, product manufacturer, or emergency service appropriate to the situation.
Every article displays its original publication date. An updated date is added only after a substantive editorial change. Typographic fixes do not create artificial freshness. Material corrections are made in the article and recorded with a new update date when they change the reader's understanding or recommended action.

Article cover cards use an AI-assisted Reef Buddy aquarium artwork created for District Web, then receive a deterministic title overlay for the specific article. Each page identifies the credit and license beside the visible image. The artwork is illustrative and should not be treated as evidence for a diagnostic claim.
